Dumping Toxic Chemicals in our Ocean, St Helena Bay 2022

Mr Truter please convene a public meeting, explaining the illegal dumping of toxic material in our bay area. There are too many diffrent views on line about the Illegal Dumping, in a public meeting you can set the record straight.
Around 1 500 tonnes of chemicals on the NS Qingdao bulk carrier were being dumped into the sea about 250km off St Helena Bay in an operation expected to end in March, the SA Maritime Authority (Samsa) said on Thursday. In October 2021, the ship was evacuated from the Port of Durban to St Helena Bay on the West Coast when rainwater set off a toxic fume chemical reaction.
Why is this important?
Our Town St Helena Bay is totally dependant on our fishing industry, if the chemicals destroy our fish, we would be crippled as a community and our local economy destroyed. We dont have the knowledge and the correct-info to deal with the issues please help us.
How it will be delivered
Social Media and direct mail to Mayor.
