CAMEROON: Stop Overgrazing in Mbengwi

They should respect the law on allocating Agro-pastoral permits. The Laws are not respected in such away that permits to graze are now brandished by people grazing on crops in farms. The cows now graze right inside wetlands, polluting water, transforming once fertile soils into deserts.

Why is this important?

This would improve on the food situation as water catchments which are drying up will come back supplying the much needed water for agriculture. Food security would be guaranteed and social conflicts which are on the rise in Mbengwi, North West Cameroon would be checked.
